It’s finally cooling down, but at what cost?

We lost some important individuals in the process this last month and yes, it was devastating. I am referring to Dolly Parton and Tim Curry.

I saw Dolly live at the Inglewood Forum on New Years Eve with none other than Kenny Rogers. Her energy should inspire people to do good now she is an angel with butterfly wings and high heels.

*We learned from Dolly you can help others and not everything is lost.*

Tim Curry changed my life. I’m not going to go off on some insane tribute like I’ve been seeing online by many.

All I will say is :

“He gave GREAT hugs.”

I’m going to stop there because I could be here for quite some time – there have been many losses this Summer…and in the words of Janis Joplin “Do as much as you can in this world, because when else are you gonna do it?”

DJBlackrose and I were at the GothMall of Pomona last month and had a blast! We know there will be another goth mall on September 19th.

Till Death Apothecary will be hosting a pop up Mystic Market event with Mystic Museum in Burbank Sept. 19th from 4pm-10pm.

If you are in the area? Please go visit their Market – Till Death Society folk are freaking awesome!

You know Code Orange season is upon us at this point. Code Orange being the time to buy all your spooky/Gothic home goods while they are available. At this time of typing we are still looking for glass spider measuring cups, Spooky Rubber Spatulas and a new spooky mixing bowl.

*We got the rug we wanted!!!! It was a quest!!!!*

Also check out your local Art Film Houses for Spooky season is approaching!

The Nuart in L.A. Will be having a ton of fantastic films and events.

*We may have had an adventure at the Nuart a few weeks back!*

The Frida Cinema of Santa Ana is going to have such classics as ‘Lair of the White Worm.’

*As you can see, The Frida of Santa Ana is FULL of fun stuff!*

Both Theaters have a Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadowcast. Be sure to check them out if you can.

I *need to see if I can get over to that.*

*I heard that the Frida this month* is *sold out for September.*

More Anti Anxiety Candles are being made as we speak. Starting on the eclipse and will be available for purchase at Frey’s Hermetic Supplies.

*End of month at the oldest Goth store of Orange County!*

I’m reading at Ipso Facto in Fullerton the last Sunday of the month from 2-6
