Hi Everyone! Finally the Lusty month of May is upon us!

☆Happy Beltane! Where’s My Uterus?!?

This Full Moon is all about ending things – more like setting shit on fire burning bridges 🔥 types of cleansing.

This will not be your typical ‘hug a tree, suck on a crystal’ sort of month. 

I will be at The May Faire in Old World inside Frey’s Hermetic Supplies in Huntington Beach on May 30th. 

It will be a blast and something not to miss. Lots of vendors selling special wares and there will be a lot of new products and services to be seen.

I will not be at Ipso Facto in Fullerton the last Sunday in May but will be back on my usual schedule in June.

I will only be doing the Old World May Faire in person event for the month of May since I will be recovering.

I have a surgery on May 4th for a full hysterectomy and several other things I cannot even pronounce. 

I wasn’t originally going to tell everyone what was going on? But that is NOT what a community does, right? I mean, discretion is one thing? But sharing with others of a like mind is important for our inner strength.

I want to thank everyone in advance that has helped me to get comfortable during this – it would be lying if I said I wasn’t afraid, because I am terrified for several reasons.

I will tell you truthfully that I have been fighting to get this surgery since last year. I have never had a surgery before (wisdom teeth i guess counts tho?)…and yeah…a little scary. But I’ll be thankful when I get it done. Lots of scary doctor words and conquering a ton of fears at the moment.

At this time of writing I am not sure that my doctor will green light me to go to Patrero War/Faire since my check up after surgery is two days before Patrero – Nothing like timing, right?

They are taking out the uterus, the fallopian tubes, the ovaries, two lymph nodes in the pelvic floor, and biopsy that whole area in case it’s needed.

I am going into the early Crone phase at 55. There will be a party later after I’ve healed up.

CRONE PARTY! Whoot!!!!

So please send all the good wishes in this direction. It is appreciated. 

Also let’s hope this is the conclusion for this type of thing with healing and good health and happiness going forward. Hope for happy biopsies.

Have you gone through something similar to this? I’d personally like to know – This type of stuff was never discussed when I was growing up in the 1970s and 80s…I think talking stuff out is actually a form of healing.

Needless to say, May is online consultations only…and probably in bed for a good chunk of time too. I will be doing a ton of “Ask A Question” on my Instagram story feed and silent monthly tarot reports for the next few weeks.

☆Back To The Beginning but with a New Direction.

When I first fell into the Dark Arts my love besides drawing and writing was the Fiber Arts. I let these skills veer off on the wayside to supposedly ‘take care of business’ – If you are reading this? I want you to know something very very important:

If anyone tells you to grow up and look for/go get a “REAL Job?” They are not living in the REAL world. Most work is “Gig work”, part time or contractor – freelance – temporary assignments.

Gone are the days of the 7am-4pm full time Monday thru Friday jobs, retire at 65 and go learn shuffleboard. Supposedly I can’t retire until I’m 70.

(insert massive amounts of swear words of your choice here.)

In recent times I have gone back to the fiber arts (actually it was screaming at me to come home!)

I’m doing more art again as well as writing stories and upcoming classes that will be available for purchase online very soon. 

I guess what I’m saying is that Witchcraft is awesome, yes. 

I love it. But it’s not your ONLY thing. It’s supposed to work along to magnify who you are and the wonderful things you already are blessed and gifted with.
